Would you like to improve your bike handling and skills so you can have more fun on a bike, or just gain confidence in getting out on the trails? I am certified through IMBA’s Instructor Certification Program (ICP)to level 3 and I want to help you to build your skills with the proper technique. General instruction is geared toward beginner through intermediate riders (men and women of all ages) and advanced instruction can be tailored for more experienced riders.

“Rae observed my riding style and gave instruction geared specifically to improve my mountain biking skills. I use her tips every time I ride! ” ~ Anna Starr

After spending several years racing XC beginning in 2000 and endurance events such as La Ruta de los Conquistadores with podium finishes at the Wildnerness 101, Mohican 100 and Wilderness 101, Rae aka SuperRae later found her obsession in the skill-demanding niche of downhill racing. Competing at the pro level since 2009, she’s got several regional DH titles under her belt, was a runner up for the 2014 National downhill series title and a three-time World Cup contender. Her racing career is ongoing and now extends to enduro and slopestyle events.

Rounding out her monomania, Gandolf has been an advocate and a leader in her Ohio IMBA chapter through trail building, community outreach and fundraising efforts like the Mayhem MTB Festival. Rae began officially coaching after receiving certification from World Champion Downhiller Shaums March in 2010 and has been coaching across the country every since. Rae relishes helping people reach that “ah-ha!” moment. She has been and Instructor Trainer for IMBA’s ICP program since 2013 certifying coaches around the country through that program.
